What does a trustee do?
A trustee manages trust assets according to the terms of the trust.
That may include gathering assets, paying expenses, working with financial advisors and CPAs, communicating with beneficiaries, keeping records, and making distributions.
The trustee’s job is not to do whatever seems fair in the moment. The trustee’s job is to follow the trust.
