Should I include digital assets in my estate plan?
Yes.
At a minimum, your fiduciaries should know where important digital information is stored and how to access what they are legally allowed to access.
That does not mean writing every password into your trust. Please do not turn your estate plan into a hacker treasure map. But you should have a secure system for passwords, account access, and instructions.
