Should I use a password manager as part of my estate planning?
A password manager can be very helpful if it is set up correctly.
The goal is to give the right person access at the right time without creating a security risk during your lifetime. Some password managers allow emergency access or shared vaults.
Whatever system you use, make sure your chosen fiduciary knows that it exists and how to begin the process if something happens.
