What are digital assets?
Digital assets include online accounts, email, photos, cloud storage, social media accounts, phones, computers, cryptocurrency, websites, subscriptions, and password-protected information.
For many families, digital assets are now some of the most emotionally important assets. Photos, videos, messages, and online accounts can matter as much as financial paperwork.
The problem is that access can be difficult after death if no planning was done.
