What if I own real estate in another state?
Out-of-state real estate needs special attention.
If you own real estate outside Kansas or Missouri, that property may require additional planning. Sometimes we can prepare or coordinate deeds. Sometimes local counsel in that state may be needed.
The goal is often to avoid an extra probate proceeding in another state after death.
If you own out-of-state property, tell us early. It can change the plan.
